Smart Home questions
My house has no doorbell wiring. Can I still get a video doorbell?
Yes. Battery models install anywhere, or we can run low-voltage wire with a plug-in transformer for always-on power. Wired is worth it if you want continuous recording.
What is a C-wire and do I have one?
The common wire that gives a smart thermostat constant power. Many older Long Island heating systems lack one. Adapter kits or a spare wire in the bundle solve it in most cases, which we check before quoting.
Do you set up the apps too?
Yes. The job is not done at "mounted." Devices are paired to your Wi-Fi, added to your accounts, and demonstrated working. We leave notes on what was configured.
